The carousel is surrounded by a soft non-slip rubber surface (see photo above left).<\/p>\n<p>The centre photo shows the entry to Purtle Park with a couple of metal Pelicans designed and crafted by talented local artist Matthew Davis, eldest son of Glenys Davis and the late Ian &#8220;Woofa&#8221; Davis.<\/p>\n<p>The photo at right above shows Helen and Robert &#8220;Possum&#8221; Purtle OAM at Purtle Park around the time of the official opening by Justin Clancy MP, Member for Albury. The magnificent adventure park would not be here if not for the hard work of the Purtle family. True Door was conceived, planned and organised by Helping Hands (a subcommittee of Yarrawonga Health). The Eva May Foundation provided all the funding to enable the delivery of this project (28 doors in total).<\/p>\n<p>True Doors are custom decals featuring real door photos that enhance the lives of people with dementia. Eva May Foundation purchased the toaster and delivered it to the school. Glenys Davis and Alistair McLellan were pleased to be invited to the first breakfast with the new toaster. It worked a treat and as you can see from the photo, it cooked a pile of toast &#8211; enough for all students attending the breakfast.
