Supporting our communities

The local community of Yarrawonga/Mulwala generously donate goods for sale in our opportunity shop at 159 Melbourne Street, Mulwala (opposite the Mulwala Ski Club).

We use the funds from sales at the shop in working on improving facilities in our local community and providing funding for education locally and in developing countries.

My Nan helped poor struggling families in Mulwala during the Great Depression and I had grown up taking certain things for granted: there’s always enough in the pot to share, there’s always a bed for a stranger, and the cow and garden were there not just for the family but for anyone in need of a billy of milk or a few vegetables. Eva May was my Nan, so her generosity, faith and humility are carried on in the work of  the foundation.
